At the very least I count 10 first rounders, I put ** symbols next to the players I think will go in the first round. It’s clear to me that these players make the draft class much more respectable especially at the skill positions like QB, RB, WR. Those 3 positions don’t really have many talented seniors. Last year there was around 60 underclassmen that declared this year only 49 which is a bit of a surprise considering there could potentially be a rookie salary cap implemented for next years draft.

It’s safe to say that this years top 5 picks will get paid, lets just hope they don’t bust like former Utah Quarterback Alex Smith, one of the hugest busts in recent memory. JaMarcus Russell? Cedric Benson? Cadillac Williams? There’s never a shortage of busts. I think a Rookie Salary Cap is the best way to go. It ridiculous to see rookie Quarterbacks come into the league and receive bigger contracts than proven veteran Quarterbacks. Only 98 days left until the draft, CAN’T WAIT!
